History

The company´s history dates back to 1984 when the farmers´ cooperation "Slezská Hořina" in Brumovice created subsidiary enterprises focused especially on press production of lead and aluminum components.

In 1991, the company was privatized under the trade name "JAVOS" and later, after legislature changes, the name was changed to "Pavel Janotka - JAVOS". At that time, quilt and pillow manufacturing became an accompanying output. In 2005, the company was registered in Commercial Register as a limited liability company under the trade name JAVOS-Janotka CZ s.r.o., which is used still until today.

In 2002, a company with a similar scope of production, called "Vladimír Janotka - FEJAS", was founded irrespective of JAVOS. In 2007, the company was registered in Commercial Register as a limited liability company under the trade name FEJAS-Janotka CZ s.r.o.

After the death of the JAVOS´s founder Pavel Janotka in 2008, bouth companies have an identical owner and executive head. Both companies do business in an almost identical field, i.e. metal work, locksmithery, tool-making, trade activity and textile production.
